Three person Hanging Tent

Introducing the quadrangle hanging tent. Simply track down four strong anchor points, like trees, rocks, or roof racks, ratchet up the straps, and poke the two poles through the tent. That's it. If it rains, throw on the 2000mm water resistant rainfly. It always surprises me how simple these hanging tents are to set up. That said, If you're not handy with ratchet straps, I recommend you practice once or twice before you head out.

Hang it over rough ground, boulders, or even water - you can be creative with your placements as long as you can find anchor points. In a pinch, you can set it up on the ground as well.

Apart from being really cool, hanging tents like this can be very useful, particularly in the West Coast Rain Forests, with the distinct benefit of keeping you and your stuff off the ground.
